this week our class embarked on our newest assignment that will continue on throughout the rest of the school year. using kodak's top ten tips, we have to take 10 good examples and 3 bad examples for each tip.
1. get down on their level
holding the camera at my subject's eye level enhanced this photograph by capturing the fun moment directly, instead of excluding her playful expression and focusing on her forehead.
2. use a plain back background
checking the area behind my subject helped to create contrast and focus solely on my subject. a messy background can cause distraction in your photos.
